We stopped here on a whim on our way back from the airport, and were very pleasantly surprised! The food came out quickly, it was hot and delicious, and the portions are HUGE. We had the choriqueso, the bandera enchilada platter and a plate of pork in chile rojo and chile verde. All excellent! My husband had a giant michelada that he enjoyed a lot. This might end up being our new spot when we are returning from our travels!

If you're hungry and want DELICIOUS Mexican food.... This is the spot! My wife got a sopapilla that was bigger than a papa Murphys pizza and STUFFED with all the goodness. I ordered a skillet (with an extra protein) and I couldn't eat it all, which is saying a lot for their portions sizes. Definitely need to throw this place into the mix of frequently visited restaurants. (I'll get photos next time)

Starters was a salsa and bean dip, which I believe is the best way, in case someone in your party does not do spicy. That being said, the salsa was right there, really nice flavor and not to spicy, bean dip good flavor. My meal was the chim/ with chicken and switched green chillies with red sauce(personal choice) with rice and beans, was very delicious. I added a taco with al pastor, very flavorful one of my top best I have had. Also had really great and friendly service, atmosphere was really nice. Will eat here again before I leave town to at least try something new or when back in town. Very full menu, healthy options and vegan as well.

I came in for breakfast and had such a great experience thanks to Milton! He was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. My coffee was always topped off, the food came out quickly, and Milton checked in at the perfect times without ever rushing us. It’s not often you get service that makes your morning this much better. Milton really went above and beyond — definitely one of the best servers I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast and asking for Milton!

Come for the chimichangas, stay because you’re too full to move. Lupita’s is hands-down the most authentic Mexican spot in the North Denver metro—unless your abuela opened a taquería next door, this is the place. The chimichangas? Crispy golden pockets of joy. Fajitas? Yes please. Tacos Mike (whoever you are, Mike—bless you) were perfection. The tortillas and chips are so fresh, and the Bean dip? A delightful freebie that made me feel like I won the appetizer lottery. Queso was also ON POINT Yes, the service was a little slow, but they made up for it by being super kind. Bottom line: If you’re craving legit Mexican food and want to feel like you just got a warm hug from a tortilla, Lupita’s is where it’s at.

Lupita’s delivered one of the best meals I’ve had in ages. The shrimp was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and the tequila selection was top-tier. It honestly brought me back to flavors I haven’t had since visiting the peninsula. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuine. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit.
